The dynamic between privacy and voyeurism is put to the test in ‘Beyond Consent’ — an interactive performative installation exploring the individual experience in relation to (personal) boundaries, sexuality, and (ethical) transgression. Beyond Consent is a thought experiment made tangible, to be encountered viscerally — ‘If the answer is yes, keep asking’.

Beyond Consent forms the first chapter in Critical Spaces, a sequence of artistic works proposing an alternative for, or counterpart of, “safer spaces”. Throughout this series,
